The Collection

AvaTayana is a single, closed collection of thirty-six works by AvaTayana Studio. It is arranged as six series of six, and each series follows one feeling through six images: stillness, restoration, being seen, solitude, belonging and awe.

Generative digital artwork created by AvaTayana Studio using AI generative software; archival pigment (giclée) print, unique (1/1). The studio conceived and directed every image, chose it from many possibilities, and refined its composition and colour through its own decisions. It is then printed once, framed once and released to one owner. No other print of that image will be made, in any size or format.

The works are small, A4 at most. They are made for a wall you pass every day, a desk, a quiet corner: places where an image can be returned to rather than glanced at.

The collection is shown in chapters rather than all at once, so that each work can be seen properly.

Chapter One is open now. It brings together six works, the third work from each series, each £33,333.33 + VAT (£40,000.00 incl. VAT at 20%): Bronze Hour, River Delta at Dusk, Half-Turned, Empty Chair, Morning, Pressed Flower and The Weight of Stars. They are shown by private viewing. Works are not sold from a basket; each sale follows a private viewing. Sales are to trade buyers (companies) only.

The remaining thirty works will be offered in later chapters. Date to be announced.

Every work carries a catalogue number, AT, then the series, then the number, and its place in the series, for example Small Hours, 3 of 6 in the series. Each is marked Unique (1/1). There is no edition, because there is only one.

The first work in each series is the image that defines it. The second is its closest companion. Meridian, AT-VI-1, carries the statement of the collection as a whole. These are held for forthcoming chapters.
