Cream points are scattered across a black field, too many to count, each one a distance beyond imagining. The Weight of Stars is about humility: the feeling, under a clear night sky, of being very small and entirely part of things at once. It is an old feeling, perhaps the oldest we have. The work simply makes room for it.
