Meridian

Six works on awe and perspective. AT-VI-1 to AT-VI-6.

Medium: Generative digital artwork created by AvaTayana Studio using AI generative software; archival pigment (giclée) print, unique (1/1).

A meridian is a line drawn from pole to pole, a reminder that the world is always turning. This series looks outward: horizons, night seas, a sky full of stars, a cliff above open water, clouds rising like architecture, first light over an estuary.

The palette is black, pewter, bronze and the cream of horizon light, with a deep cobalt that runs through every image.

Meridian is about awe: the feeling of standing before something vast and finding that being small is, for once, a relief. Here, more than anywhere, the work lies in the studio’s choices: which horizon, which depth of blue, how much darkness to leave.

The series opens with Meridian, the work that carries the statement of the whole collection, and closes with First Light over the Estuary, a day beginning again.
